My last photography post is really outdated. This afternoon, just after kids bedtime, I plugged my Nikkor 50mm 1.8 to my Nikon D70S, and here is the result. I really like those a lot. I just made a standard RAW treatment through Rawshooter and the B&W-ed them through Picasa. I like the really short depth of field given by the 1.8 aperture. For those kind of face-portrait, it’s really awesome.

Would you have any idea if the Nikkor 50mm 1.4 would be of any interest to increase the effect a little more?
